LNS onboarding

OTAA, regional alignment, and the sub-band trap on US915/AU915.

The LoRaWAN region configured on the device (Harvestree Toolbox, USB) must match the device profile and gateway channel plan on your network server. Mismatch is a common cause of join failure or missing uplinks.

US915 / AU915 — channel plans

Channel plan is set in Toolbox → Network. Factory delivery uses hybrid sub-band 1. Other plans select the standard full plan or hybrid sub-bands 2..8.

Plan125 kHz channels500 kHz
Hybrid sub-band 1 (factory default)0 – 764
Standard full plan0 – 6364 – 71
Hybrid sub-band 2..8Eight consecutive channels of that sub-bandOne 500 kHz channel for that sub-band
US915 / AU915

Factory / legacy delivery uses hybrid sub-band 1 (channels 0–7 + 64). If gateways use another sub-band, joins fail or uplinks are missed. Prefer explicit STD / SB2–SB8 plans (26.9+) when needed and align the LNS profile.

DR limits

IN/EU: DR0–5 · US915: DR1–3 · AU915 / AS923-1: DR3–5 (dwell / regional rules).
